Writing About Strong Women

LINDA SITTIG, Author and Blogger

Linda Sittig finds a thread of history and researches its path to a fascinating story. Her interview details how her deep interest in history led her to begin writing the story of a distant relative that no one in the family knew existed. Ellen Canavan became the protagonist in Cut from Strong Cloth, the first book of her series Threads of Courage.

Her latest book, B-52 Down! is non-fiction that tells the true story of a B-52 that went down in a fierce blizzard with two nuclear bombs aboard. The lives of the pilots, their families, and the thousand volunteers who searched for the crew are chronicled with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.

B–52 Down! The Night the Bombs Fell From the Sky Kindle Edition

Follow her blog, Strong Women in History to see stories of women who were unsung heroes that made a difference. Linda has kindly given permission for me to publish her email lhsittig@verizon.net for you to contact her directly with any questions you may have about her books or the interview.

Thanks again, Linda, for sharing your work with us.
